Mike Olivella (Miguel Antonio Olivella, Jr.) is a photographer based in Tallahassee, Florida. Mike is a Featured Photographer for the Florida State University Athletics Department, Unconquered Magazine, and he also shoots as a stringer for two international wire services. His sports photographs are routinely published worldwide and have been featured on Comcast's Top Photos of the Week, ESPN.com, and ESPN broadcasts. A permanent exhibit of his sports images are on display in Florida State's University Center.

Mike has been a frequent Guest Blogger on Scott Kelby's Photoshop Insider Blog authoring posts on a variety of photography topics. He has also written articles on photography for industry magazines including a cover story for Photoshop User magazine.

As a sports photographer, Mike has photographed NFL football, the BCS National Championship Game, NCAA Bowls, March Madness, and NCAA Championships in several sports. Other sporting events include the U.S. Open, Wimbledon, The Masters, the Tavistock Cup, and the Tour de Georgia. 

When he is not shooting sports, Mike enjoys other photographic challenges. His wildlife, travel, and landscape images have won numerous awards and have been exhibited in solo and joint exhibits as well as art galleries. More recently, Mike has ventured into the challenging wold of astrophotography, capturing images of the heavens above. Many of his astro images have been exhibited and won critical acclaim.

Mike also owns and operates a studio where he shoots fashion, model portfolios, and commercial images.
